  1. Are beach towels available at the resort?  Yes, when you check into the resort, you will be given towel cards for each member of your group.  You can trade these cards for beach towels at the towel cart by the pool.  When you are finished using your towels for the day, please return them to the towel cart and keep your card for the next day.  Please keep these cards in a safe place as you will need to hand them in on checkout.  You will be charged if you lose the towel cards.

 

  1. Are hair dryers available in the villas?   Yes, hair dryers are available for your use in all the villas.

 

  1. Are there safe deposit boxes in the villas?  Yes, there is a safe deposit box in the villa for your use.

 

  1. Are the electrical outlets different in Mexico? No, the electrical outlets are the same in Cabo as they are in the US and Canada.

 

  1. Are US dollars accepted in Cabo?  Yes, US dollars are widely accepted in Cabo but depending on the exchange rate, you may wish to exchange some dollars for pesos.

 

  1. Can I exchange money at the resort? Yes, there is a money exchange available at the resort.

 

  1. Is tipping required? Tipping is not required and is optional, but the resort staff salaries are lower than in the US and Canada, so gratuities are greatly appreciated by staff.

 

  1. Is there parking at Villa La Estancia? Yes, there is free underground parking at Villa La Estancia with Valet parking. 

 

  1. Is there internet available at Villa la Estancia? Yes, there is free wireless internet in public areas of the resort and may also be accessible from the villa. There is a hard wire dsl connection in the master bedroom. Many of the villas have dedicated wireless and the resort has wireless routers that can be "check-out" for use during your stay. There is also a business center with computers available for your use.

 

  1. Is maid service available?  Most rentals include maid service 4/week.  Extra maid service is available for an additional charge. 

 

  1. Can you drink the water at Villa La Estancia? Yes, the resort has a water purification system and the water from the taps is purified.

 

  1. What time is check in and check out? Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out time is 11:00 am. 

 

  1. Can we check in early?  If there is no one staying in the villa prior to your arrival, an early check in maybe available, however it cannot be guaranteed.  If the villa is not ready on your arrival, you can leave your luggage with the bell boys in a secure area and enjoy the resort facilities until check in.  

 

  1. What time zone is Cabo? Cabo is Mountain Standard time.  We are 1 hour ahead of Pacific time and 1 hour behind Central time.
