There are many wonderful restaurants in Cabo with new ones opening all the time. At Villa La Estancia there are two restaurants. The poolside restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and a light dinner (closes at 10 PM). The gourmet restaurant, La Casona , is open for breakfast and dinner . It is relatively expensive (though not higher than other top end Cabo restaurants). For a private dinner, ask the concierge to arrange to have it served in the "gazebo" near the pool. This overlooks beach and is a wonderful treat. In Villa private dining is also available.
At Villa del Palmar, there are also two restaurants. The Bella California sits right next to the beach and is open all day and into the evening for dinner. They have a wonderful pizza oven. The more formal restaurant, Las Tortugas, is open in the evening. Most evenings feature some type of entertainment at Las Tortuga .

Some of our other favorites in San Lucas include:
Puerta Vieja

Same owner as Villa Serena; excellent view and good food. Located on the highway; go early to get a good table with a view. Note there is also a restaurant in town called Puerto Viejo. We've never tried that one (but it may be good!)
The Office on the beach

Located down the beach about a 15 minute walk. Tables are in the sand. We like to go for “happy hour” which is all day until 6 PM (includes beer and some national drinks) . Good food and great people watching! They have a Mexican show on Thursday and Sunday evenings which is nice. Reservations are required for the show and have to be made in person.
Edith's

Located just up the hill behind The Office (same owner). A very romantic place with beautiful bay views and excellent food. Consistently rated by our guests as a favorite (don't miss it). Depending on the time of year, reservations can be difficult to obtain, so reserve early.
Peacock's

an upscale restaurant under a huge palapa, offering a unique menu. This restaurant is one of the older ones in Cabo and still gets good reviews. Prices are high, but worth it for a nice dinner. menu
Pitahayas – located at the Sheraton (Hacienda del Mar), a lovely higher end restaurant under a huge palapa overlooking the ocean. Gets great reviews.
Mocambo

located off the main drag, it's more a local's place, but you won't find fresher seafood at better prices. The waiters speak English and menus are available in English (it has always been cash only, but a guest reported recently that they are now accepting credit cards).
Solomon's Landing
